We have 30 inch silverback x lites on ours.. I've never seen anyone else run this tire because it's new, but they seem to ride smooth and have the aggressive tread pattern you might like. Check them out!

They are 27.5 x 11 x 14's on ITP T-7 beadlocks all around.

They are 7" wide rims and yes they do affect the handling. Straight line hard pack/road stability is sacrificed for flotation and coolness. I am considering buying some 9" fronts to see how they work, probably a big difference.
