Ive been looking at these spacers to run for the time being, just to get the ass end up a little. I just called Super ATV to make sure that i got the right thing since it doesnt say T2,T4, what year they are for or any of that on their website. They told me that they dont work on a T4. WTF, I know ive seen pics of them on T4's.
You guys running these things. Did it make the arse end ride like a chuck wagon? I didn't really know how they worked until I put them on my springs today. Basically all they do is preload the absolute piss out of the rear shocks. I'm about to find out how much lift it gave it, as I'm installing them back on the Rex now. But I seriously don't see how it could ride very good compressing the spring that much.
I backed my preload all the way off and the springs were way too tight still to get off, much less get the spacers in there. I had to go over to a friends and use his springs compressors, and even with those we had to compress the crap out of them to get the spacers in there.
I saw a YouTube video of a guy who used two ratchet straps to compress the springs. I've done it that way on atv springs but not a sxs. Not the safest way but if you don't have access to a spring compressor it is an alternative.
I used a automotive spring compressor where i work. I dont see how you could use a ratchet strap
