Thumbs up Picking up 17 T4 tomorrow!!!

Hey everyone.
Picking up my new T4 LE tomorrow and am super syched about it. I'm pretty new to the forum world as far as posting, but have been following and searching threads for a while now. It appears one of the first orders of business is the fuel vent line mod to protect the fuel pump issue. Does anyone know if that is still an issue on the 17s?

Other than that, I'm looking at the Viper 4500S front winch, Full Kawie windshield, Rear window, rear harness bar and harnesses (for the kids) and I'm leaning toward the 52" Nicolight rgb light bar. Considering I have to purchase a trailer to haul this thing, the high clearance a arms and PCV will have to hold off until a later date.

Any other recommendations for the family truckster down the road or anything that I'm overlooking that I should do right away?

The fuel vent line is still by the gas tank you will need to run it up higher.

Congratulations on you new ride, I picked up m 2017 T2 this morning, put on a super ATV split windshield. waiting on my Factory UTV skid plates and Koso Temp Gauge. Going with a stock roof. For me and my style of riding the skid plate and Temp Gauge are the two most important. If i could find a temp gauge as big as a dinner plate with alarms, sirens I would get it in a heartbeat. I put my 2013 Teryx out to pasture with over 8K miles, never left me stranded.

Took it out for a 10 minute break in ride last night and my entire family is impressed. So glad we made the choice to stick with kawasaki. You'll have to let me know how the split windshield works in the rain. I was told it might not seal as well as the kawi windshield against the roof in the rain. I would have loved the split.

So far I ordered a viper 4500lb synthetic winch, full kawi windshield, rear vinyl wind screen, and I'm giving the Nicolight 52" rgb light bar a go. Looks bad ass, and I think the green will really make the Teryx4 stand out.

I also am trying a couple of portable ue boom Bluetooth speakers for a cheap stereo for now.

Thank you for sharing your set up. I love getting the low down on what works, and what doesn't from ppl. Going on her maiden voyage tomorrow!

Ride safe everyone

Nice! You and you're family will make many great memories in the T4. Enjoy!

BTW- the Kawi full windshield is nice. Some guys like the spilt windshield for the versatility, but I've always preferred a solid full windshield.

Update:
Maiden voyage went great. Entire family was all smiles. A lot of gravel roads but did take one wooded trail and came up on some water holes. The first one was np, but the second one I started getting water coming in the doors and backed out. Didn't feel like getting stuck with no winch on the first venture.
Which made me wonder, I don't even know where the cvt intake and and exhaust are exactly. I'm assuming they are up around the seat height. And I also have to relocate the fuel tank vent line yet. When I loosened the gas cap to fill it for the first time, I heard a big rush of air go into the tank so I'm not sure if that is normal or if there's something wrong with that vent, like a bad check valve or something.
This week I'll have made a lot of progress on it hopefully as far as mods and accessories. Then out for another rip next weekend! Can't wait!

I went with the tusk vinyl clear window. $65 and I figured it would keep the dust out better than the mesh screen.
Still waiting on the windshield tho. I originally ordered the kawi full and it turned out it was on back order... So I ended up going with the moose racing split fold down. Hasn't come in yet, but looking forward to it.

I've run with the kawi full windsheild & the tusk rear they have been better than I expected all the mud & rocks haven't scratched it yet & the rear window has taken a beating the spare tied against it hasn't hurt it
I open trl it with both on even 75 ,80 mph

Have you installed the high clearance a arms yet? Just curious as to what the width of the vehicle is with these installed?
