I hate the hood, try looking at it from any other angle, ugly!!!
Looks like a cross between the Honda lil red and the artic kitty. ...and its about time kawa addressed the cooling issues, a few band-aids, but at least its a step forward. Unlike the several steps backwards in the "aggressive style" |

I think it will look good for our GNCC racing on the east coast. Block the head lights in and put doors on it,oh and a 840 kit!

I like the improvements to the cooling system but sorry Kasawasaki the new face is very very ugly and I mean very very very ugly.
Is there a storage under the hood? if there is none it's a improvement but not an important one for me as I believe an exellent machine is one that does not need you to get under it's hood all the time unless it's for maintenance. I really like my 09 look it's very sporty the new look is like you are stepping out of your corvette to take the kids for dinner on your suburban. Otherwise we should all be happy that riding season is here in SoCal as the weather has cooled off now. I was in north of yuma ridng over the weekend and wind on the 8 fwy yesterday was so bad that most people pulling anything could not drive above 30mph if they wanted to stay on the road off course. Happy riding everyone. |

OMG! That thing is so nasty looking. I thought I would have done anything for a tilt hood on my 09 but all the of the 10 improvements combined are not worth those nasty looks IMO. I have labored the hell out of my 09 going slowing in the dunes at Glamis on a hot day and I never had any over heating problems. The only over heating problems I ever had were going fast and I tracked that down the brush guard on my aftermarket bumper and everything has been fine since taking it off. This is the first time that a new model has made me glad I had the old model.

Even if it is why would you want to spend the extra money on a Kaw OEM Rad when you can purchase an aftermarket one cheaper. I serious doubt you will get one under warranty....You should check with TCPShroud.com they might have a $50.00 fix like they have for the Rhino.

i dunno i gues im glad they keep addressing issued that we ( the consumers) but not so big on the looks. im sure they will grow on me, but it lost its edge and aggressive look. maybe its 1 step toward a resigned re powered 2011 model? why else would the change the look?
