Where are you at in missouri? There are rides in wolf pen gap in the mena arkansas area all the time. There is also this place in hot springs that has alot of trails its called the ross foundation alot of people ride this. I have not been there yet but I've seen some pictures and the trails are nice very little mud and great scenery. I'm sure you could meet some people and make some contacts.

Treyx4,
There is an offroad park out here by me a few miles from Meremac State park in Sullivan called Moonlight Racing Offroad Park. It is 600 acres. I have not been there yet because I don't have my machine done yet. Do a Google seach for them and you will find posts from people that have been there and some U-tube video's of the place. $10.00 per vehicle, all passengers included in the $10.00 price. This will be the first place I go to test mine and do some shock tuning. It would be cool to get a bunch of us together and go out there for the day, but I don't know when I will be able to make it.

You should check out Wildwood at Steedman Mo. It's less than 2 hours from you and there is 1200 aces to ride. It's private but many people from the St. Louis area own lots there including me. I live 10 miles West of Jefferson City and its about 45 minites east for me but I have been there about 10 years it's very resonable.

guy's, just keep checking back on this thread. We will get something together before the end of our riding season. I will be at Moonlight Racing on Aug.18th for a test & tune on my machine but this will be it's first run out so I don't want to get a ride together and break down after 30 min. or something so I will run it through it's paces first.

Just got back from SMORR this afternoon and can't wait to go back! Trails are rated 1-5 with 5=Are you Freaking Crazy. Since it was just me and the 6yr old...we kept to the 1-3 rating and parts of some 4's. The T4 is very capable and the owner Brandon (Champion Rock Crawler) has a 2 seater Teryx with PitBulls on it and said he climbs the 5's all the time with it. See my write up in the T4 section for more details and some pictures.

Gateway,
Awesome! Glad you had a great time. Sounds like I have to put that place on the " go to" list. I'll go check your pics.

For all my fellow Missourians, you oughta check out a place called Cloud 9 Ranch in Caulfield, MO (about 20 min. north of Arkansas). It's a member owned camping resort with over 6,300 acres that is completely private to it's members and their guests. Very nice riding with these other features: 5 campgrounds with full hookups for R/Vs, many rental trailers, gas station (which you can pull your bike right up to), restaurant, store, adult center w/inground pool, teen center w/inground pool, putt putt, basketball/tennis courts, awesome rainbow trout fishing in our (2) spring fed stream, shooting range, horseback riding, and more. The beautiful thing about it is you can ride your machines ANYWHERE; store, restaurant, pool, etc. We have Poker Runs EVERY holiday weekend, and last year we started an annual Mud Bog.

Everything is member owned, so you annually get to vote on board members, rules, etc. The riding is not strict at all. NO requirements on flags, helmets, night riding, single riding, drinking. Not allowed to "create" trails or ride on horse trails, and must follow speed limits around campgrounds. Other than that, we have some really great trails that are maintained by some amazing volunteers, and we also have some mudholes.

Annual maintenance dues are around $400, and annual bike registation $50 but you DON'T have to pay daily on top of that. Any questions please ask, cause I've been going there for over 15 years. I'm in St.Louis, and the drive is about 3 1/2 hours--well worth it! Website: Welcome to Cloud 9 Ranch is the current one but kindof sucks. --- Welcome to Cloud 9 Ranch Club - Ozark Paradise --- is an older one with some other pictures that may be better. Just don't go by those rates. We offer weekends to "visitors" to come check us out.

The place Hubbard738 suggested, Wildwood, is a great place to! Go there every year in October.

Just got home from Moonlite in Sullivan, MO an hour ago. This is the first time I have taken the T4 anywhere other than around my house in Vienna, MO. I took my two year old son with me and we had a blast. We had originally planned to go Saturday, but due to work we couldn't go. That being said, we went today for a quick scouting trip to see if this place is worth revisiting for a group ride.
First of all, you know you're goinig to get some good off road riding just by the drive into this place. I needed my 4wd in the tahoe just to get out of the place pulling a trailer.
Second, there were no facilities (running water, electric, toilet, ect.), so be sure to bring anything you might need.
Next, I had minimal phone signal (not a big deal for some, but I am on 24 hr call for work). However, I could get a bar here and there at the top of some of the hills.
There are minimal rules at this place: pay your $10, sign in on a clipboard, and go for broke anywhere within the fencelines...no helmets on sxs's, no flag, child car seats affixed by ratchet straps - ok! This suits me fine, but as they day wore on and we got braver, helmets felt like a good idea.
Finally, the riding: The place is 600 acres and it does feel small. However, there are a lot of trails on the 600 acres and seemed like we rode a lot with out hitting the same trails. There is a mixture of riding, but plan on climbing and descending plenty of steep hills. The trails are wide enough for a sxs but some trail side clearing of the thorn bushes would be nice. I didn't see any type of trail markings and we had to turn around at a few spots due my unsuredness of my abilities with the rex.
We did hook up with another rex rider (T-2) and this guy was nuts. Left leg amputated and go for broke driving style, this guy made me look like a total girl. Every hill climb, he'd floor it and bounce, bump, and spin all the way to the top. At one point, he bent a rear rim and flattened a tire climbing up. I kept the T-4 in low, 4x4, and diff locked. She had no problem climbing anything I pointed her at.
Conclusion: definitely worth a day trip or even a primitive overnight. bring everything you could possibly need and ride. Be sure to check out 'slim chance' hill. Slim chance i'll ever try that one with the rex!
All us MO riders need to get a ride together asap! and I need to get my recall work done, asap!

SMMOR next up on my list.
