Steel seat lowering bases
Ok its done after 12756 changes the Teryx Seat bases are going into production they will be selling for 125.00 and will come powdercoated black with all hardware they will not work with stock seatbelts or stock seats at this time I know they work with PRP seats and will lower your seat about
1 1/2" when you combine them with our exclusive prp seats you will be about 3 to 3 1/2 inches lower but we are still waiting on the first order of seats the bases are going to powder so they wont be shipping for about a week and a half
probley 2 weeks for the spacers and screws for the stock seats but they will never work with stock seat belts never ever

My comment was kinda harsh.
Maybe it would be beneficial to tell potential customers what they would gain by lowering their seats.

Ok I have to ask for the explanaiton. I see a lot of people doing this with race machines but the stock Teryx cage has plenty of head room. My 4 seat cage has been lowered 4 inches and I still think I have plenty of headroom. Is it to let the suspension seat move more? Other than if you were building a race teryx with an extremely low cage what would the benefit be? Sorry if my brain is not working on a no brainer.

Hey UTV Johnny,
You say they fit PRP seats is that PRP seats that that fit the stock teryx
seat pans already or do they fit regular old PRP bolt pattern...I have
racecraft seats that are made for the stock teryx seat pans and if this is the
case I'm very interested!!!!!

Ok I see this is like David Lettermen top 10 reasons to buy seat bases
1. Stock Seat bases dont hold up when you start jumping and install seats that hold you in the extra leverage causes them to crack crack
2. Lower Center of gravity
3. If you buy the bases and the seats and cage you can lower everything for a nicer look
4. Buy lowering everything you can now drive your teryx in to most enclosed trailers
5. Because you will be buying them from me and that will help the economic situation
6. Yes they fit PRP teryx seats
7. 90% sure they fit all Teryx aftermarket seats
8. Made in the USA

did somebody tell you how a vdi box would help you
1. if your in the back wood hunting you can catch most bucks over 100 pds because the higher rpm will allow more top end speed
2 if you get stock in a mud puddle you can spin your tires better
3 It will allow your motor to rev higher so you can scare the bucks into the next county
4 most big game animals will hear you coming and just drop to a knee start praying and wait for the head shot
im just joking around dont get excited

LOL no no no, you were missing my point...or maybe I just did not make my point clear (also, I do not use my Teryx to hunt, that was just an example, I am sure they would hear that Muzzys exhaust well before I could even get close enough to them)
While I understand why you would want to lower your seats, I was just trying to get you to explain why someone would want to...not everyone may know why this is done. Was not trying to discount your work, so if it came across that way, my apologies.
That is all, no hostility
But in regards to what you posted above in regards to a CDI and hunting...those do all seem correct, lol.

So with the bases and your PBP lowered seat (3-3.5"), how much lower can now you build the cage?
