How does this work? Got any pictures of it installed? My only question is how could I get this to work if i go through the mud and water a lot or will it work at all doing that?

It is an automotive style alternator. So it will withstand the elements for the most part just like the one in your car or truck. They carry a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. I posted a picture a few posts back. It drives off the crank to spin a pulley that drives the alternator.

I dont see how or where this can be mounted. I saw the picture of it and all the pieces but where does it go? To me I don't think there is any room in mine. Does it connect to the drivers side crank case somehow? If I could get some good pictures of how this installs or fits I might be interested.

Why can't you make these waterproof?! That's all I ask. Cause I don't think it will last long being submerged in water and mud...

its an automotive alternator with a 1 year warranty from the manufacture.. its not weather proof but it is weather resistant to a degree. its the same style alternator on your car or truck.
