Default New Wheels and/or Spacers - what offset for trails & racing?

Looking for some recommendations on good tire wheel combinations primarily for dry trails and a mixture of hare scramble & a little track racing. What tire & what wheel offset?

Is there a combo that's lighter weight than stock?

Also, since I can't afford to do much with the suspension at the moment, I've been thinking about adding spacers just to get a little more stability. Anybody had any experience with using spacers? I've got the feeling that the back may be more productive than doing too much in the front. I would guess that I should take into account the wheel offset as well.

Thanks.

Just get yourself some 2" spacers and run the stock wheels and tires. If you want a little more bling, bling pick up some SS 108 rims (inexpensive - around $80 a rim) and run the stock tires. If you want to up grade the tires go with the Big horns. I am running the 26x12x9 all the way around. if you want a little more bit in the back go with the 26x12x12

Good Luck
