Do you think it would be ok in a pinch to use a smaller tire for a spare?
I have 27.5" Growlers (that measure 28"), if I got a flat on the front, I would use the stock tire (which measures 26"), if it was a flat back tire, I'd put a front Growler on the back, and the stock tire on the front?
The simplest way would be to just get another 14" rim and front growler to use as a spare, but it would cost me about $300.
Just trying to sped a bit less!

The stock tires don't actually measure a true 26" They are maybe 25" if not a little under. I'm not sure having a 3" or more difference in diameter is good for the back. Not sure what kind of stress that would put in the locked rear. Makes no difference on the front.

It would work in a pinch to get you back to the truck or house. You could probably find a used similar size tire for your stock 12" rim also.
