No idea what the commander wheels use as far as lugs. My ITPs use flat and my dwts use tapered. My point was either way lugs won't be an issue. If they center off the hub and if thats a different size than the teryx is what I don't know and what remains to be solved...

I think the moral of this story is: Buy them and figure out the details later. Worst case scenario, you bought yourself a set of big horns for 75% of their value and destroyed a set of commander stock rims. Best case scenario, you create something pretty unique for yourself.

KLX450R or anyone else, what size bit would you recommend. The studs measure out like .472 inches and the closest bit I could find was a 31/64 which measures .484 inches. I got a good deal on a set of wheels off ebay but they were 10mm so I'm getting ready to bore them out. The wheels take a flat base set of lug nuts and the hubs looks to be a pretty close fit but was difficult to get a real good measurement on it.

Thanks!
Scott

I would try to find a 12mm bit but if they use a tapered nut than you can probably get away with a slightly larger bit

Teryx's are hub centered. You can use a 1/2" drill bit and secure them with whatever lug you want to use. Personally though, I use acorn style lugs just to be certain that I am secure.

Thanks for the help guys. I had bought a 31/64 bit but was hesitant to try it because of the mixed opinions. I took off a factory wheel and checked it with the 31/64 bit and the lug holes in the factory wheels are actually a little bigger than the bit. The wheels I got are Raceline A8 Monster wheels with 5-2 off-set. I bored them out and they fit nice and tight, I would say an almost perfect fit.
Thanks!
