at the shop and had my wheels broke down takin them ITP Mud Lites back off, didn't like them at all... so I sanded my stock wheels, painted them black with some nice base/clear and added a red stripe...think they look pretty nice.

what didn't you like about the tires? and what are you going to run now? and lastly, what kind of riding do you do? dunes, woods, mountains and rocks?
thanks,
dave

I'm in WV so theres no dunes/sand but I ride on and in everything else you posted...I found that the Mud Lite had very little grip on harder surfaces which is about everything other then being in mud and they are great in mud...I found myself wondering if it was gonna make a corner or slide over the hill and I didn't like that felling. I'm gonna pickup a set of Big Horn 2's as soon as I sell these Mud Lites...I've never heard a bad word on those.

Your wheels look GREAT!! Very nice! I go for the hammered to straighten them back out look myself.
I am running the Bighorns and I much prefer the Highlifter MST's I was running before. I'll be going back to the 27" MST's as soon as I finish toasting the Bighorns. The horns also give you the loose machine feel on the hard stuff and on big rocks. I felt the MST's gave a lot more solid and fixed feel. The horns also are wearing out a lot faster than the MST's.
no but i heard the same about flippin the stock wheels around, but then the valve stems would be on the inside. ... i want to know if it will work also...
