Arrow Maxxis BigHorns

What does everyone think of the Maxxis Bighorns? I was leaning toward the terracross's but after seeing them in action around some mud Im not going to go with that tire. I dont ride in mud 100% so I dont need a mud tire im just looking for something better than the terracross.

I dont think the horns are a great mud tire either. Very, very tough, probably the toughest tire made, good traction when its dry, but when wet the fronts push, at least on my quad. You may want to look at the new Maxxis Mudbugs, they make them in 14" now, should be a much better mud tire the horns!

Shoot man you gotta remember that we dont have 102hp to the wheels either like your prairie.... Plus the added weight. How do they wear?

Wonder who would offer a tire/wheel kit with those?

I don't know about the gbc's but the bighorn's are a great all around tire and they are very durable, the terra crosses aren't. The mud lites are better than the terra crosses I think. For my money I would buy the bighorns.

Only ever had them on a stock BF 750, steering was the biggest problem when it was slick. They wear like IRON!

I have the same results as xchamp. Great in the snow, but you need to be in 4wd and on the gas to get them to steer on anything slippery. My mst's seemed to point and shoot better as far as steering. Both are tough tires, but I say the horns are the best trail tire period.
