2 inch wheel spacers = Heavy / slow steering
I put 2 inch spacers all the way around, They look great and helped with the stability. Now the downside. Now it doesn't turn as quickly and it requires more physical effort to turn. They would be fine for the dunes, but I do fast hardpack. I drove my friends stock Rhino last weekend and it felt like you could steer it with one finger The teryx didn't feel as nimble as the stock Rhino. Then I got back into my Teryx with wheel spacers and it felt like I was like driving an 18 wheeler with no power steering. After 2 days at Plaster city on fast tight trails, my shoulders were a little sore just from driving. I put the spacers on right after I bought it, so I didn't realize how different the steering was. I took off the front spacers last night, but I'm thinking about leaving the back ones on for stability. It looks funny, but might work. Is it a bad idea to be 4 inches wider in the rear than the front? Buggies used to that way. Any input would help. If anyone wants them make an offer, they were $230 new, 2 trips solid billet. They just don't work for me, the trade off isn't worth it for my type of use. In the dunes, they would be fine.
