Dominator 30" tires

I was looking for some good tires for rock crawling. I have 26" Bighorns and liked the thought of having a similar tread in a 30" tire. Any thoughts on these tires? Going to Disney in 4 weeks and I hear the rocks are big there.

THe downside of running a tire that size for rock crawling would be the added weight and gearing it would take to finess them over obstacles. Also a tire that large in off camber situations i would almost guarantee you would rub the inner fenders even with a lift kit installed. What you have with the 26" big horns are hard to beat in the rocks. Another good choice would be the 8ply ITP baja cross tires with some beadlocks.

I have done some rock crawling on mild trails, but was wanting to be able to take on big stuff. I have a XMF long travel and I'm pretty sure the 30" tires wouldn't hit at all. Might be a bitch to turn, but I can get power steering one of these days. I think the extra clearance would be a big value and I have plenty of power to climb about anything in low range.

Bighorns will do fine. I have been there quite a few times. The big rocks and bluffs are to big for a teryx anyway. Its not what your thinking but its a good time.

I did go to disney and could climb most any obstacle I came across, accept the large boulders and step ups or down. Wheel base seemed to be the biggest problem. I got onto some pretty hairy stuff that I didn't have enough traction to pull up that the bigger tires could have helped with. I am still interested in these 30" tires. Has anyone tried them, if so how is the clearance? I have an extra inch back with my XMF long travel so I am thinking they will fit. Besides my rear fenders are trashed from bottoming out the suspension. Any reviews as far as at speed on these tires anyone?

I believe 30' will do the trick no problem at all the only disadvantage that i can think of is the added weight.
