Default Air pressure

Why so much air pressure in these stock tires? Rides very stiff compared to my atv. I see no reason for havin the tires at 10 to 14 lbs and being rock hard. What are your thoughts? I understand airing down will be an issue if I carry heavy loads but I need a smoother ride!

Air your tires down to where they run on the inner edge of the outer lugs or to the middle of the outer lugs. Then you have a smooth ride, traction and even wear.
