Steering 2016 Teryx 800

Hello. My machine had a little interaction with a rock and the rock won. I hit a rock with left front tire that dented the rim quite extensively. And caused the steering wheel to go full left. I was able to straighten the rim and and get it home . Now when I turn the wheel it seems to go to far to the left and sticks. The right turn seems normal. Any suggestions what the problem might be. I’m assuming something came loose in the steering rack or tie rod ends but don’t want to start messing with stuff without a little advise. Thanks in advance.

Quite possible you cracked or broke a tooth or teeth in the steering rack. Hitting an immovable object hard enough to bend a rim will unfortunately, sometimes have that expensive result. Also check your frame at the A arm pivots.

Thanks Mike. Had a closer look yesterday and the lower A arm at the pivots looked bent. I have ordered a new one. The steering rack seems free with no restrictions . I’ll put the a arm on and see if that was it. If not I guess I’ll look into the steering rack. I assume it’s all one piece Other than the tie rod ends?
