I use all Kawasaki fluids and filters. They keep track of what I buy and I do too. That way if there is ever a question about warranty work they can see that I’m buying it and changing it. I also feel my owners manual out every time I change fluids and filters for warranty purposes.

Thanks Barefoot.....That's what I was wondering. I want to make sure that I use the right stuff so that they can't come back and say that I am using the wrong oil. I found the oil and filter at S&H farm Supply here in town for $33.11. Amazon wanted right around that also. So I think I will buy local and change it out.

Hey, thanks bigblue. I'm gonna have to change it this week before my rock bounce this weekend. I'm putting the hours and miles on this thing pretty quick. I don't think the excitement of my first side x side has or will wear off anytime soon. I hate to spend 10 grand then not maintain it correctly.

I only use the Kawasaki branded fluid for the rear diff. with the wet-brakes. I use my favorite brand of oil/fluid for all other fluid changes.

I ask my dealer about this with regard to the warranty. I was told it doesn't matter so long as the fluid meets the proper specifications for the Teryx. And, keep your receipts for proof of fluids you use in case you need warranty work.

Thanks MX. I will keep all the records for this thing in case I ever die and have to pass it on, cause i don't think I will ever sell it.

That's actually a good idea. I need to put together a survival pack pretty quick. I've been riding it so much I keep forgetting to buy my winch, rope, air compressor, slime, tire plugs, toilet paper, and tow strap.
