glamis belt question

Really wanted to post this in a "sand" area.

I think if I was out in the dunes, in the dark, and my belt was intact i would drive back to the camp , party with my friends all night, and cut off the belt in the morning.

If the belt has not started to shred I would just run it to get back to camp. You can cut the belt off without any issue(might take a bit) and roll a new one on

That is the info I was looking for.

It is ok to cut off the old belt, verses taking the clutch off to removed the belt?

It causes no harm to the machine. I suppose blowing a belt is the same.
