BOSS AUDIO MGR350B for center slot

Would the BOSS AUDIO MGR350B fit in the center slot where the jensen radio would go on a 2017 teryx4 le? Measurements looks close to what the Kawasaki stereo setup is but wondering if i can see someone that maybe has done this stereo style but with a different set up for speakers and such as Id rather pay 166.00 than 599.00 for a completed set up.

I put the Boss in mine but I made the mistake of ordering the 3.5 inch model so I returned it and got the 3" model and it fit fine and works great. It has flash drive capabilities, Bluetooth, and plug-in for each speaker front and rear. I put in the fronts in the pockets on both sides of rocker panels beside dash when I fond the covers like the oem kit and made a console over the back of my head for rear speakers along with amp, vhf, and circuit breaker for everything plus my led lights.

Thanks for the heads up on the size i will go Re- look at the size i found and see if i can find the smaller one. So I do need to get amp also besides the stereo and speakers then. Where would you put the amp location wise and is really needed.

Thanks for the visual Foxy that helped as well.

The radio will have a small built in amp that will give you some sound. It just won't be super loud. I put a amp in because I live by the motto if it's to loud your to old. And I wanted a sub for bass. Also make sure the radio you purchase is not real deep mounting wise. The mbquart one I have is more shallow mount. I knew some guys bought another brand and it was to deep to mount. They had to either add a spacer ring or returned for a shallower mounting model.

Hulk79, have you installed this yet? I bought the same unit and was hoping for some pics. I have the entire dash off now and am starting to run wires...

Keeter can you assist me please with the following questions:
I just learned that I get a Boss radio for x-mas but it has 6-1/2" speakers for which I cant find pods anywhere. Any Idea?

where did you find the covers for the dash cavities? Dealer says they don't have a part number for these odd shaped inserts for 3 inch speakers. Only with speakers , Way to expensive . if I find these covers I can buy 3" speakers for front and use the larges ones for rear

Also how did you route wires to rear?
Thanks Buddy

Garage, I found the rear overhead pods on eBay with part # TX2-OSP65-U. The front under dash pods seem to be sold out. I am also buying the marine kicker speakers separately as well. Hope that helps.

Tanks for your info
I could not locate any under dash mounted pods that are readily available for the 6.5 " speakers that came with the Boss radio, so I bit the bullet and ordered a pair of overhead ROP mounted speakers which are on their way. So I have two extra speakers waiting for a solution to mount.
Its interesting to note for my Canadian fellows that some shipment costs of US offered pods exceed the costs of the pods proper, insanely expensive. So I keep on digging. This is not a uncommon scenario despite the fact that Ontario is just across the border. most US based shipments come in without fuss and no duty (NAFTA) but some suppliers think we live under a rock up north on Ellis Island
Spent some time to make radio fit depths wise, shorten the mounting bracket by 1/8" and cutting the threaded studs, so radio fits barely
all speaker and power connections are made with waterproof connectors, crimped and soldered, wired directly to battery with inline fuse and switch.
Pondering antenna location. radio came with an antenna pig tail wire which I don't know how to stash neatly under dash, so I ordered a marine wip antenna. will post pictures when finished

Wolfe, sorry about the delay getting back to you but I've been in hospital since early Dec with siactic nerve and blood clots in my legs. In rehab now learning to walk again so it's slow going on this end. lol As fa as the covers for the 3" speaker I found mine on Facebook in the Teryx groups. They were cheap compared the ones already rigged. I'm hopeing you already have yours rigged up. On my 16T2 I fab a metal box going across the back of my roof and mounted my anp, 6.5 speakers and a circuit breaker bar for all my electronic including my VHF, amp, rear spot light, 3' whips with a master cutoff going to the circuit breaker to make sure I can cut everything off while parked. Wolfe if you still need anything just holler as I hope to be on here more often while rehabbing.

thanks a lot keeter, hope things are going well for you and that you can kick ass again very soon. I ended up buying two Boss speaker pods and mounted them on the rear rops cross bar. pretty good sound actually. the two 6-/12 " speakers will be re gifted to my son together with a Boss radio for his upcoming birthday for his boat. I have to wait for the front speakers until I find some affordable solution. Some people ask more for shipping then for the covers, OEM price is not acceptable. I bought a Marine wip antenna and the reception is awesome.

Wolf, any pics of the speakers mounted and which ones in particular you purchased? Sounds like the Boss 350B.6 and a set of the speakers you have may be a good option for some sound.

Hi Wolf, I would love to see some pics of your system, especially pics of where/how you have the antenna mounted.

Momoose: pleas note my window protector bars, I used them to bring the speaker wires up to under roof, the heavy wall pipe is hollow and ideal to get a good looking wiring installation. I mounted the antenna just about at the same level then the deflector bar to avoid being sheared off by tree branches. but it would be alright without the bars as antenna is very flexible. The reception is great with this type back here in the boondocks.
lots of dew on machine outside this morning so pictures are not that good.
Also note the additional stereo on/off rocker switch i installed so you dont have to fumble with the radio on/off
You may also need to shorten the the legs of the aluminum radio mounting brackets by 1/8 and the threaded studs flush to avoid interference. say may have to as my body's machine had a hair more clearance as they are not build like watches
let me know if you need more info

I installed the Boss and 4 speaker pods as well. I went with 4" pods, 2 in rear and 2 pods in middle behind fromt seats. It rocks and works/sounds good. Some bass but nothing big. Its still hard to hear at 55mph as trex is so loud. Tweets will give ya headache if ya crank it.

2018 Teryx 4 Camo. Bandits, 4500 winch, Flipper windshield, Boss stereo rocks, 2" spacers, VForce tuned! Sportsman SP850 Camo for fast times, MAGA!
