Boss stereo install.

Just installed a boss radio and two 6.5” speakers on the roof. Got maybe 150$ in it.

short of disconnecting dozens of wires for Radio, volt meter , horn , signal rocker switch, radio master switch removing the center console is a PITA because radio bezel fights you.
However in your case may not be a problem. I have automotive style disconnects on every wire. I also had to shorten the Aluminum bracket by 1/8".
Love the radio. But watch your Battery drain
Have fun

Heard that. All my wires allow me to pull it out at least 8”. But you’re right I did have to shorten the bracket and chop the studs shorter on the boss. They hit my air intake. The install price went up too lol. 60$ for the speaker compartment. And those dang water proof kickers at 212$ for em.
