I don't think the grips would hold a chainsaw. I use for bows and rifles. I don't know what size of Yeti would fit, but I do know the holders are very small, not many cups fit in them.
Thats pretty similar to my setup with a few exceptions. Notable differences would be my hand-made roof and windshield with wiper, bigger wheels and tires with bead locks, and street legal kit. I am also set up to plow snow when needed :icon_thumleft:
Your's is nice too! Looks like you get good use from it... I have done a few more mods that you might find interesting and will be adding pictures and descriptions shortly.
I do get out fairly frequently, but never as much as you want to. Mine is a 2016 and I've got about 2400 miles on it. I'm getting ready to install a clutch kit to better pull the bigger tires up steep hills. Did 6 weekend trips last year, hoping to do even more this year :icon_thumleft:
So here is the second Mods update. I will post another 1 more as only 8 pics are allowed to be upload in one reply.
Where to begin...lol
Outside:
- I powder coated my a-arm guards black
- On the SATV front bumper I had a hole cut out and a hitch receiver welded in, which allows me to put a rack on the front of the machine.
- Fabricated cross beams for the roof so that a storage rack could be installed and then got a storage rack(Princess Auto) and installed it.
- Installed orange grenade tire valve covers (amazon)
- Installed decals on the hood - Jurassic Park and Claw Marks (amazon)
- Installed the SATV flip up windshield
Uzelman,
Nice rig. I am also getting ready to use the noodle to stop majority of the the dust. On a scale of 1-10 how much did it help. Also which clamps did you use to hold the shovel.
- Installed an air horn that plays the Dukes of Hazard Dixie melody(Amazon)
- Installed 2 x 25lb magnets(Princess Auto) on the back of the drivers seat to hold a sword/machette
- Installed rare earth magnets(Princess Auto) to the lid of the storage compartments to align with the metal on the back of the seats so they say up while I'm rooting around in them
- Installed remote control, battery operated lights(Princess Auto) inside the storage compartments
- Installed remote control led strip lights (Amazon) inside the cab that can be any color or change to the beat of music
- Took a better picture of the smittybuilt overhead storage that I have in my cab
- Installed a pool noodle (Dollarama) in between the box and the frame to minimize the amount of dust that gets kicked up in that area
- Installed a new suction cell phone holder(Princess Auto) to the windshield
Well there it is, a few of the things I have done that make my machine mine!
If you have any questions regarding any of these mods, just let me know and I'll see if I can help out.
P.S. Looks like we might be able to manufacture a few more of the roof cross beams if anyone is interested in purchasing them. I know I looked all over for them and couldn't find any, hence why we made our own. Can be made out of aluminum or steel, your choice. $200 CDN plus shipping.
LOVE the T2! Wow, you've done a LOT! One word of caution if you have any of those wireless remote controlled lights hooked to your battery. They will kill your battery if not on a tender when parked. They draw a small amount of power "listening" for the remote signal. Don't ask me how I know that. :shifty:
Another place to stop dust getting in is the floor. Make yourself some nice floor mats to fix that problem. I made some out of horse mat from Tractor Supply. I used the leftover as a mat to stand on in while working in the garage so very little waste
I don't have anything under the seats, but I have seen screens you can put there. I have a full windshield, roof, rear window and floor mats. Dust is never a problem now. The rear window comes down to about the bottom of the seat back.
Those are two cool looking rides, does anybody use cool anymore? Besides me. LOL.
Steve........
