I certainly is pricey. However, I am not desiring to change out every year.

Do you use a trickle charger to keep battery in full charge? I read on here that the charging system of the Teryx sucks.
Like Sam said, look at the current draw of the winch and lights. Do you have a radio? The Odyssey types are closed cell, so you don't have to worry about bumps causing leaks and they are a bit more durable, not to mention smaller. Keep in mind that in the case you do use your winch, you'll assumedly have the engine running...unless maybe you are rescuing yourself...worst case.

I keep a Battery Tender on it if I'm not pulling it in and out of the garage to do something...I haven't punched a hole in the back of my garage yet...I have some gas lines to move first.

I am a little skidish about pulling that fuel pump assembly; I am not that good of a mechanic!
Don't worry about it...just have the new one on hand. FIRST *important* Make sure you clean the area well, so you don't drop dirt in the tank. I advise putting a towel over the hole if you're going to have it out longer than a couple minutes. New gasket will come with the new filter. Swap 'em out and reinstall. Easy Peasey.

Thanks Taz104. My Teryx does not have a radio.

I will remember your points when I get to the fuel pump/filter issue.

The fuel filter in the You Tube that was a $24.99 special. Has anyone else on here tried that? Just concerned that it might fall off in the gas tank!

3 stock ones for $15. I'd keep the factory setup, since you have a stock Teryx.

Sorry...I don't know how to force the url tags off....site settings.
