Hello, newbie to side by sides, Kawasaki

Hello everyone,

I deactivated my facebook account so I need a forum resource.

I recently purchased a leftover 2017 Tery 2 800 base model, I put about 290 miles on it. I am not new to off roading, been an avid atv rider since 2008 (Yamaha Grizzly fan) been snowmobiling since 1976.

I purchased a bluetooth stereo system, vent kit, led headlight kit and a Kolpin 4500 winch...all for the Kaw Teryx, I will be following ya'll and will have questions....I will be installing all next month after my first oil change.

A KRX model purchase is probably in my future.

Dan

Welcome to UTV's. I also had a Grizzly 700 and sold it to buy another SXS. I don't miss riding atv's anymore. I love the comfort of my UTV's.

Welcome! My T2 is out hunting deer at the moment. Maybe I should have gone with it?

Hopefully you kept your atv. Really glad I kept mine. Really enjoy the SxS, but you can't beat throwing a leg over an atv as well on occasion. Totally different riding experiences.

Thank you! I love my Grizzly, SxS is nice to relax on the trails but it's nowhere near as fun as a decent ATV, we hit the trails with our atv's, we ride hard, after a few days when we are wiped out we will then use the SxS....another reason for getting a SxS is because many trail systems now have trails that are rated (restricted) for utv or otv use, no atv's, so to not miss out I decided to get the Teryx.

I had 2 kingquads when I purchased my teryx, traded the 2017 on the teryx, keeping the 08 I bought new and loved but after not using enough sold the 08 and had no regrets since. don't get me wrong love atving but enjoy this a hell of a lot more. couldn't justify the insurance, plates, trail pass and up keep. everyone I hit the trails with now all have sxs's.
