Hello from Bonney Lake, Washington.

Hey Everybody,

Rule #1 - Research
Rule#2 - Do some more research
Rule#3 - Ignore rules 1 & 2.

And that is exactly what we did. We bought an awesome 2019 Raptor 356 toy hauler last year, knowing we were going to get a side x side for our family. Well, guess who did not research the length of most 4-seater side x sides, prior to buying that magnificent beast, this guy. Thatís right, the garage in our Raptor is only 11í.

With that knowledge, I went back to rules 1 & 2 and started researching and researching. Down the YouTube rabbit hole I went. I came across Hesterís Motorsport in Raton, New Mexico and the mods he is doing on the Teryx 4 and I was hooked.

This decision has ultimately lead us to this forum and purchasing our first Teryx later this spring. A Hesterís edition Teryx! We look forward to meeting many fellow riders in the coming years and exploring the back trails of the PNW.

Have a great evening everyone,

Chris, Jenny, Cody & Caley

Welcome! I have a Rage'N Toy hauler that also has an 11' garage. There are a bunch of toy haulers that only have a 10' garage, mostly those with bulkheads between the garage and the living space. I have seen a few with 12' garages, but very few with more than that. At least, not that I've see in the shows and online. You can get more garage space without the bulkhead.

Another thing you need to consider is height. There are basically two heights most toy haulers come in, 72" and 77" heights (opening at the ramp door). There are of course, others out there, some going as much as 8 feet, but the point is, measure your overhead clearance to make sure your ride will fit. Also, keep in mind, what fits today, might not fit later if you start upgrading with larger tires, suspension lift or roof-top accessories. And if you have a drop-down bed in the garage area, you might find that you need to remove that too for extra clearance.

And lastly, check your width. At 63" wide, my Teryx fits snugly in the back of my Rage'N and us larger bodied individuals can find getting in and out of our ride during loading can be a tight squeeze. Bottom line, like you said, research, research, research.

Welcome to the forum!

Thank you very much for the great information, I am heading out today to measure the height inside the garage with the bed and happy jack sofas in it. That has me concerned a little as far as what we want to do with ordering our Teryx up.
