Gibsonj668 Finally got the required break-in hours on the machine. Also went ahead and ran the full service on it, cant wait to take it out on your big trip this coming weekend to Ride Royal Blue. Going to be fun not having the half throttle restriction

Your set up looks really nice. I know this is not the right forum topic selection but could you explain a few things to me.

When you say 8in wheel 4+4 does that mean a 8in wide wheel with a 4 lug pattern at a positive 4 inch back spacing?

Why should I stay away from 5+2. Is that setup hard on ball joints and tie rods?

What about keeping the stock LE wheels and buying a wider tire and or adding wheel spaces? Are spacers harder on the steering components?

Any knowledge you can share about wheel size and how the numbers correspond would be greatly appreciated.

What combination would you recommend?

justinooo9 Took it to dealer for fuel gauge issue. Also grabbed two 4,000lb d rings and a 20ft 6,000lb rates recovery strap. My other straps and d rings are for diesel trucks so they were a little overboard for a Teryx4 lol

Walnutz Removed the Roll cage and going to coat it with truck bed liner. Previous owner banged it up pretty bad so hoping this will give it some new life.

Stormking From a few spots we took in Mt Hood in Or, Mt Adams (close) Mt St Helens, Goat Rocks range, Mt Rainier and the Sisters in the north. Then looking behind us we could see Blues mnt (Or,Id,Wa) the Selkirks Id, Wa. and the Rockies in distance from Canada to Idaho at least. Snake river area as well. 360 views. Oh and the Yakima farm valley of E. Wa. All from 1 spot, not moving just spinning around. Rare to have all these at same time.

P.T That is something else, beautiful

Stormking It is epic. Idaho Mnts are as well. We have limited areas to ride in Wa. This area is old jeep trails. Rimrock/Ahtanum. Some really nasty stuff up here if your feeling brave! Pucker ridge trail is one of em. Short Dirty and Louie Way are bad too but pucker results in death if ya mess up!!! No I didn't take family on those trails.

Thank you, I feel the same and try my best to remember it even on Mondays hahaha. I gotta make an appointment and hopefully its a warranty claim. my fuel gauge has not worked for months and I checked everything I can and shes got about 8 months left on warranty. so hopefully on terms of safety and technical it will be a simple fix. I always just fill up before and after each trip and reset the trip meter for now haha.

Stormking Dismounted the MudLight2's and put 28" Bighorn on the tusk beadlocks. I am liking these so much more then the ITP's. Next is fuel vent mod before next ride. A tip for you'all-Log splitter is an excellent tire bead breaker.

justinooo9 Ordered a little breather filter and hose adapter to do the fuel vent mod this weekend. Also after fooling around with spare tire mount ideas I settled on this:

receiver mounted to keep the spare tire facing outward at bed height. It will have two little braces that bolt to some open holes under the bed frame and a hook mounted on one side near the receiver inlet for recovery/towing purposes. I don't like the spare being mounted above the bed blocking rear mirror, its too thick to put on the rack over the hook and I don't wanted mounted on the side making it wider. Gonna start this wed or Saturday depending on time.

Didn't realize how big even the skinny front tires are when its just a tire/wheel in your hand lol.

appreciate the good info on the forum here.

Appreciate the suggestion. That may be an option. I plan on listing the tools I use for a belt change at least and making a little tool kit for the teryx4 but for now id like a tire iron in case anyone else has a flat and that way I don't have to pull a socket/ratchet out of my garage and truck sets etc. I have a lot of stuff the 3/4in goes to for trailers and truck etc.

thanks though.
