What have you done to your T4 today?

I looked around and I didn't see we had one for the t4s, just curious to see if we can give each other tips on stuff on our t4s.

Re: What have you done to your T4 today?

I have one I got tired of cleaning mud and dirt out of the tight spot where the rear brake lights were just such a pain so i brought some rubber mat from work we had laying around and cut to fit and bolted and tie wrapped it to the bottom of the rear fender it came out nice and now it will help keep out some of the mud and stuff from getting stuck in there

I've been thinking of that also. Where's the cheapest place to get them? Highlifter has 6" for 100$ and 12" for 160$. Don't really know if that's good or not

Working on my snorkels, nothing any different except I think I'm the first to do a 3"cvt exhaust. I've had issues with the 2" cvt exhaust on my T2 before and don't want to have them with the T4 being that it's heavier with bigger tires.

Looks good, I haven't opened the back portion of the rear seats but I guess there's no other way to run the cvt exhaust except to cut the rear cup holders out?

Re: What have you done to your T4 today?

I got my led strips hung on my roof, I ordered two 5' strips of white Smd leds and ran them in the two channels of the plastic roof. it came out pretty bright I like it but I'm sure my girls will like it the best at night lol

Those lights look good red. Are they easy to hook up? How much did you pay for them

I saw in your other thread that you thought the noise reduction stuff was working. I wonder how it does in the mud and splashing through puddles fast when you don't quite clear them jumping water breaks on the trail? I am sure you know what I mean. I think my 2009 T2 was the first year they started applying insulation on the inside of the console between the seats due to heat complaints and it did not do that well for very long where we ride. Is the stuff you got absorbant or would water just run off like it is rubber?

I wish I could ride Saturday but during the summer I work or travel and work Sat and Sun. Actually most of the year I do. If anybody can ride Wednesdays, our group usually rides from about 8 to 3 or so.

I could peel the factory heat pads/insulation off easily and could barely remove the Rattletrap once it was stuck. I don't see it coming off.

Ebay. That is where the original poster mentioned he got his too. just be sure to get Rattletrap. They have other thicknesses too, but Rattletrap is the thickest at 80mil.
