I have one I got tired of cleaning mud and dirt out of the tight spot where the rear brake lights were just such a pain so i brought some rubber mat from work we had laying around and cut to fit and bolted and tie wrapped it to the bottom of the rear fender it came out nice and now it will help keep out some of the mud and stuff from getting stuck in there
I've been thinking of that also. Where's the cheapest place to get them? Highlifter has 6" for 100$ and 12" for 160$. Don't really know if that's good or not
Working on my snorkels, nothing any different except I think I'm the first to do a 3"cvt exhaust. I've had issues with the 2" cvt exhaust on my T2 before and don't want to have them with the T4 being that it's heavier with bigger tires.
Looks good, I haven't opened the back portion of the rear seats but I guess there's no other way to run the cvt exhaust except to cut the rear cup holders out?
I got my led strips hung on my roof, I ordered two 5' strips of white Smd leds and ran them in the two channels of the plastic roof. it came out pretty bright I like it but I'm sure my girls will like it the best at night lol
I got them off ebay 33 bucks for both strips, and yea it's just a black and red to hook up the hardest part is getting the power wires run up the cage pipes
I saw in your other thread that you thought the noise reduction stuff was working. I wonder how it does in the mud and splashing through puddles fast when you don't quite clear them jumping water breaks on the trail? I am sure you know what I mean. I think my 2009 T2 was the first year they started applying insulation on the inside of the console between the seats due to heat complaints and it did not do that well for very long where we ride. Is the stuff you got absorbant or would water just run off like it is rubber?
I wish I could ride Saturday but during the summer I work or travel and work Sat and Sun. Actually most of the year I do. If anybody can ride Wednesdays, our group usually rides from about 8 to 3 or so.
Ebay. That is where the original poster mentioned he got his too. just be sure to get Rattletrap. They have other thicknesses too, but Rattletrap is the thickest at 80mil.
I installed a digital temperature gauge in my t4 today, now I won't be worried about overheating or not knowing the temperature. I spent to much money to depend on a dummy light lol
Adjusted the shock rebound (bottom adjuster) all the way soft. Ride is super smooth around my woods but will probably need to firm it up a touch next weekend when we ride. I adjusted the compression (top adjuster) some time back and set it softer and it made a nice difference in ride quality.
