It wont make a difference noise wise that you would notice without a measuring device (decibel-meter) but, it will help with dust. Certain window combinations cause a vacuum in the cab. full window, no rear net and dust gets sucked from the holes in the floor. I still need to make some for mine. The cheap walmart ones I cut didn't last at all. Derrange offroad on youtube has a nice diy for the teryx4 using garage floor rubber matting and he made a template just taping/folding white printer paper down then double checking and using it to cut like 3/4in mats to size. I just haven't done it yet.

I made my own out of 3/4" Tractor Supply stall mat. Cost me $30. Used a SHARP utility knife. Both my wife and I noticed a lessening of the noise on our 2017 LE. Not drastic, but noticeable. Plus the height fixed the accelerator pedal sharp angle issue.

Just did the same thing for my floor mats. Went to Tractor Supply and bought a 3/4" stall mat for $39. Made some paper templates and took my time cutting the mats with a utility knife. I was worried about the thickness of the mats, but like the poster above me, it solved some issues with bad angles and the pedals. My wife can also touch the floor with her feet on the passenger side, she is happy! Definitely cuts down on the dust, and they don't move at all. I am so glad I went with this method instead of spending almost $300 for OEM ones.
