Hello all, although I am new to the forum, I have read many posts’ as a guest trying to figure out what is happening with my ride. I purchased a 2012 Teryx 2 750 recently from a dealer that took it in on a trade. Apparently, the previous owner sunk it in a mud hole and broke the belt while trying to exit. Instead of fixing the problem, he traded it in for a newer model. I purchased the ride 1 1/2 years later to discover that it had sat in the gated lot virtually untouched ever since being traded. after installing a new battery and new fuel, the ol’ thing cranked right up, but began spewing water out of the belt case. After removing the case, I found that both clutches were corroded beyond repair so I purchased used clutches and had Vforcejohn work his magic. After installing the new clutches, the bike ran great for about 30 minutes of slow and safe riding. After letting my young son drive for a few minutes, I realized that he wasn’t ready to drive yet so I jumped back in the drivers seat. When I put it back in gear and attempted to accelerate, it began to surge dramatically with VERY little power and almost dying. After towing it home, I began trying to diagnose and these are the things I have done so far... replaced the fuel filter, checked fuel pump and it’s showing 43 psi, replaced spark plugs, checked air filter and it is fine, replaced the speed sensor. It starts up fine and idles beautifully, I can even rev the engine and it reacts perfectly, but when I put it in gear and try to accelerate, it begins to surge back and forth... high rpm’s to low rpm’s and will barely surge forward. I’m getting no belt or fuel injection light on the display either. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
