I have a 2016 Teryx 800. I am approaching 5000 miles and the engine still runs strong with no issues.

The main thing that will determine the life of your engine, in my opinion, will be use, abuse and maintenance.

I have heard many stories of needing a complete rebuild at my milage, and I have also heard of people going 15,000 miles with no serious issues. I intend to be one of those people, assuming I keep my bike that long. =)

When you say "East", where are you referring to? I'm from Virginia, which is about as far east as you can get in the US. LOL

Taking the skid plates off is not a big deal at all. If you have a drill with a socket attachment, they come off real quickly. You just need a 10mm socket.

And if you don't mind my asking, what are they asking for that 2020 T4 with 2700 miles on it?

Thats a little over $16k U.S. if my calculator is correct. That seems a little high for a bike with 2700 miles on it, but maybe thats a good price up there?

Anyway, if you like it, and its been well maintained, it should be a good bike for you. I picked the Teryx not because it was the best, but because it was, BY FAR, the MOST reliable! I ride very remote areas with no cell service. I can ill afford to be broke down in the middle of nowhere. In nearly 5000 miles, I am very happy to say that I have NEVER failed to make it back to camp under my own power.

And THATS why you get a Teryx!

Sounds like a sweet ride! Cant wait to see pics of it. I wish I could afford the Elka shocks for my bike but I don't see it happening. I'm on a tight budget LOL
