I am looking to install a set of harnesses on my teryx 4. The front is pretty straight forward and I get how it all works, but the rear doesn't look to be that easy. My question is, do you have to install the rear harness bar for the install? Has anybody installed a harness set without any modification to the stock rear bar? The rear bar cases me to loose space according to the install sheet. I hate to loose a cooler back there... Thanks in advance!
The harness bars I've seen appear to just replace the lower rear crossbar. Are you hauling coolers or a cargo/cooler box made to fit the teryx? There are threads about both the dragonfire and utv inc bars. But I couldn't find them on their websites so they might be just out of stock or discontinued? Worst case a local fab shop could probably fix you up with something.
I just installed a set of harnesses on my 2014 T4 using the stock cage. Appears to fit well on my boys. I just pulled more slack through on the higher end of the bar so the harness fits even on both sides.
