I've got two LED lights I want to add. I'd like them hooked up to reverse/brake. Where is the best location to connect into the current wire harness? I could easily run wires to the tail lights, but there has to be a better option not so prone to getting caked in mud. I plan to mount the third brake light under the back of the roof.

Do I need to run a relay from the current harness, or is there enough power to the current lights to handle two more? The new lights are 60W each (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S7BCPFX).

Brute Performance makes a pigtail you can use to tie into factory harness for the backup lights. I would think it would be easy to tie into the harness in the same place to run the third brake light.

Alright, JRife got me looking around. I decided to avoid cutting up the factory wire harness. I found these connectors (Amazon.com: Electrical Equipments Supplies - 1/5/10/20set kit 6189-7037 6189-0887 Sumitomo 3 pin HX 040 male female waterproof automotive electrical wire connector For Honda - (DJ70310-1-21, Package: 10 Sets): Home Audio & Theater) on Amazon.
Though they will take a while to get here, they seem to be an exact match for the tail light connector. I hope to just make a short extension that I can splice off easy. It it ends up matching, I'll post back here to let everyone know. Thanks!
