I have a 2018 Teryx LE. It has the 27" tires. I am looking for a spare wheel/rim. I see that the nut/lug with is 12MM. I was wondering what others have bought and works?

Look on Facebook marketplace. I’ve seen plenty of takeoffs listed, and sometimes singles. You can also buy a steel aftermarket rim and find a good used tire. This is what I did and have about $125 in a good spare.
When I was figuring out my options for a spare, another forum member said to NOT get the ITP Delta steel as the wheel lip design made for easy sidewall cuts.

I bought the Quadboss steel 14" wheel and found a used tire for my setup. I am happy with it.

Just remember to use a FRONT tire size. Fronts will fit either front or rear but a rear won't fit up front, it will have clearance issues.
I used the ITP wheel for my spare, and haven’t had any issues with it. They wouldn’t stay in business with those kinda problems. Have used ITP wheels in the past with great results. I’m guessing a few slipped by QC, but it’s not a regular issue.
I use the ITP steel wheel for a spare as well, just remember that they may take a different style lug nut than your stock wheels. I believe most steel wheels use an acorn style lug nut where the stocks use the flat ones with washers. I carry the "spare" lug nuts in my glovebox all the time.
I've got the same Itp wheel but still haven't bought the acorn nuts yet...Will do that after I need it.

Just for clarity, I wasn't bashing ITP product, just passing along another member's reported experience and how it lead me to the Quadboss product. I also paid less for the Quadboss than ITP offering at the time. Especially for a spare, frugality was a significant variable in my decision, that is also why I went with a used tire. I was once told that a $12 word for "cheap" was "parsimonious" and have embraced it ever since LOL. Seems I am always weighing serviceability, intended purpose, and risk tolerance vs. price.

haha, right on. I feel like you were the one that reminded me of the lug nut difference on one of these threads to begin with, but maybe not. I'm sure you could crank the stock nuts on there good enough to get you out of the woods anyway. I got a box of 20 lug nuts on amazon for like $14.

Was going to post the same thing about the lug nuts. I'm sure you could limp out of the woods using the stock lugs but there is a possibility of damaging the rim (egging out the holes) and the wheel not being centered and causing a lot of wobbling.........again, you could probably limp out but with how easy and cheap it is to pick up a few lugnuts why wouldn't

Guess I stuck my foot in my mouth, even though I didn’t mean to! Sorry if I came across as harsh. I’m retired and also frugal. I bought a used tire off marketplace because I couldn’t justify buying a tire and paying shipping for a spare. Also use a set of Yamaha golf cart lugs that I already had for my spare, and they work great. Wonder sometimes if I’m frugal or just cheap.

Offset is a measurement of the distance between the hub surface (where the wheel mounts) and the center of the wheel itself. The first number is the distance towards the vehicle and the second number is the distance away from the vehicle. The total number added together would be the width of the rim (7 inch rims in your case). A zero offset would mean the mounting surface of the rim is exactly in the middle (3.5" on each side for a 7" wide rim). So a 4+3 is a positive offset and would mean you basically have 3" of rim sticking out past the rim face and a slightly wider stance than a 5+2 (where you have 2" sticking out from the wheel face and it would sit inside the wheel well more).

yes, get a front one. Or just a 27x9x14 tire of any kind (Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 if you want it to match) on a 14x7 wheel with 4/137 x 12mm bolt pattern. 12 mm is the stud size, that is important because there are many 4x137 rims with only 10mm studs and they won't fit.
