Regarding slow starting...............Here is what I have found:

If you read the instructions that come with the Copperhead CDI, it says that it runs best with the mixture screws set at a lean setting, leaner than stock. Our Teryx does not start immediately when you turn the key, but we have not adjusted the pilot screws yet. However...........................
If you crack the throttle open when cranking the engine, it will start right up. This pretty much verifies the fact that it is too rich on the idle circuit when using the new CDI. Don't forget, the ignition timing is quite a bit different than stock, that's why it runs so good. But Velocity Devices has no way to adjust the idle mixture for you, you have to do that on your own.

By the way, our stone stock Teryx goes 59 mph with the Copperhead CDI.

Benchmark Performance has a limited supply of 10 Copperhead CDIs that are in transit from Canada right now.
Demand is far outstripping supply on these, don't wait to order yours!
