Hey Steve
I would like to see pics of your winch mount and gussets. My SuperATV winch mount is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
Also wondering if you ever go to trails up by the current river? I've heard there's a lot of them there. I might have to bring my teryx, next time i go there.
I'm in SW Mo west of branson on table rock lake.

I'll see if I can get pic later, I used to get over to the Current River every once in a while. Pharmacist friend of mine has a good bit of land over there.
We bought a place closer to your area, we are close to Morrisville, just north of Springfield.
The gussets I added were to the fairlead mount, it helped but I think I'll find another mount for the fairlead though.

Hi Steve
I hope you like the new place. It's a great area to be in, and your close to lake stockton. as far as your winch, Have you considered getting rid of the cable and going with rope? that might solve your roller fairlead issues. I have a badlands winch on my tacoma that I switched to rope and like it much better. I just finished putting my Super ATV winch mount on, and tomorrow I will pull the cable off and replace it with rope too, I got my rope and hawse fairlead at bruteperformance.com but SuperATV has more color choices and since theyre in Indiana it gets to us pretty quick too. Since I'm going with rope, I don't really need to see your pics, but always like to see what others have done and how they did it. I just got a trailer to haul my T4, but it needs some work and my local media blast co. can't blast it until the 2nd or 3rd week of august. so I won't be able to take it to some trails until late Aug or early Sep. another member on here ( LiftedT4 ) lives an hour south of KC and says the Rush offroad park is fun, its near noel, mo. ( south of joplin ) maybe one day we can all meet there and hit some trails. I am looking more forward to going down to Arkansas around the big piney river, there are tons of trails down there and it's not a pay to get in privately owned place like rush. which I prefer. I've 4 wheeled a lot down there in my truck, but havent been down there in years. look up macks pines on the internet, I've driven by it a lot but never stopped or camped there, it looks like a nice place to camp and there is atv/utv trails on both sides of hwy 7 right there.
Hopefully it won't be soo hot when I get my trailer finished and ready to go

After staring at my Superatv fairlead mount, I think the problem is that it is too tall. My milemarker winch came with a fairlead plate that is lower than the superatv one that goes under winch & above Superatv mounting plate. So I removed the superatv fairlead mount and put the milemarker one on. All 4 winch bolts go thru it and It sit's lower and won't "flex" during use. If I was going to make one I would have to have a machine shop make the 90 degree bend in this thick metal, and then I could drill the holes that match the holes in the bottom of the winch (using holes on superatv mounting plate as a guide), and cut the "U" shape out of the front part. if you can make one for your winch, I think it would be stronger and you would like it better. whether you stay with the roller fairlead or switch to rope and use a hawse fairlead which is smaller in size. My fairlead mounting plate is 8" wide, 4 1/2" front to back, and the front part bends up 2" I'll post some pics and a crude drawing of it's size and where it goes, in case you want to make something like it that fits your winch
in the 3rd pic, you will see how much taller the superatv fairlead mounts compared to the milemarker winch fairlead mount. below last pic is my drawing I hope it's big enough to see in case you want to make one like it. if it isn't let me know and i will see if i can make it bigger and easier to see. or email it to you ( done with microsoft paint )

Welcome Back Steve
I hope it works, I haven't tried it out yet other than using it for the snowplow. it worked fine raising & lowering the snowplow that I never had to use this winter.
I told my neighbors that since I bought this, it won't snow enough to get to use it, maybe next winter?
