I bought my T4 new in July of 2018 and it now has 690 miles on it and 69.4 hours. I called the dealer today to talk to them about the play i have in my upper control arms. The service tech told me because I havent had my machine serviced that my warranty is void. I asked what services he was talking about because I have done 3 oil changes and front and rear diff oil 2 times. He then told me Kawasaki requires all their machines be taken to a dealer for a 20 hour service and a 60 hour service. He told me the salesman should of gone over all of that with you (he didn't) so you should know. So the conversation went back and fourth and I asked for the manager. The manager told me all the same B.S. and then asked who my salesman was. When I told him his attitude changed and he put me on hold. Apparently that particular salesman no longer works for them because he wasnt informing his customers about the service that is required to keep their warranty up. So in the end they are going to get my machine up to date on the services for 1/2 price and then deal with Kawasaki on the issues im having. The service guy told me I have to take off my lift before I take it in so I dont have anymore issues with the warranty. So has anybody else ever heard of this?

I think this stems from your lift... They don't have to cover squat with the lift kit installed. Future lesson to all. Is your dealer in Lacey Wa.?? I had similar issue years back. Lift and wheel spacers.

Not sure why the lift would cause play in the control arms? The bolts are tight. It’s the control arm being sloppy on the bolt.

Yes it’s Paulsons’s. I have wheel spacers too. Is that going to be a issue as well?

If the Factory requires you to have the oil changed by the Dealer to keep warr. active they have to pay for it! Harley tried the same shit years ago and it didn't work for them !

Not approved accesories. Yes spacers a problem, remove. Yes If you buy the oils/filter from dealer its on record that service done on time. That's what I did and it was all good. Dealer may take pics with service report to Kawasaki for warranty purposes and Kawa may choose to send a tech out to inspect, especialy on expensive repair claims. So Stock form is whats expected. I had an EPS glitching on 2015 Teryx and dealer/warranty replaced whole unit. It was likely just a voltage/wiring issue but eh?

What is the slop? I don't understand where you describe? Ball joint? Bushings? Also the newer service manager at Paulsons isn't the most popular guy. I had words with him already. He is surely a buy the book kinda guy.

My dealer told me just the opposite. He said so long as I documented all my personally done service in the manual pages and kept receipts for my oils, filters, etc that kawasaki would always warranty as necessary.

Sounds like you need to find a new dealer to do business with.

What kind of lift? If it's a block/spacer they might give you BS on CV joints but the rest is a lie. They are ripping you off dude.

If I jack it up and grab the wheel like im checking the wheel bearing the upper control arm moves around of the like the tube holes are egged out. I cant get a video to upload.

Well that sounds like a typical bad ball joint to me. Doubt warranty covers that?? Ya probably have to buy upper arm with ball joint included and fix it at home... But maybe they help ya, I don't think they are required too imop. I think ball joints are pressed in so to replace joint only w/o press might be a pia. Others on here would know about this for sure. Im trying to help but Im not 100% on anything!!!? Lol.

Not the ball joint. Its definitely the tube where the bushings go in. I just replaced the bushings with new OE and it slops around on the them too.
