Nevermind just talk to a trailer place, u can special order a 7'6" 7x14, which gives u a 7ft door for 4400.00 any color u want, or u can get a 7' trailer that gives u a 6'6 door but I figured u better get all u can, 7ft tall trailer was 4200

i just remove my back wheels and put on smaller rims to lower the rear end. i drilled out two old subaru rims that are close to the bolt pattern. This is a PITA but it has alleviated the need for me to upgrade my current enclosed trailer. I only had to lose 6" in the back. With the rims on and the rear suspension on full soft, i throw a few sand bags in the back of my T4 and pull straight in. Temporary solution for me, but it works. good luck!

Woo, don't quite wanna get into that, I've done the cage chop on mine, it would barely fit in a 6ft door if I took my safari rack off the top, but I don't wanna be where I can't upgrade tires and wheels or lift etc.. I figured if I gotta buy anyway I'd go ahead and order higher, they say more wind resistance but I drive a F350 power stroke, it don't care.

makes sense to me. i agree, if you dont already own a trailer; buy the one that will work for you and one you can grow into. I plan on upgrading as soon as i can, but for the time being my decoy trailer is playing double duty. :) cant wait to see what you end up with. Good luck!

i would definitely go with the taller trailer. Of course, you could also consider an open trailer, but I prefer closed myself as I am sure you do as well. That, and depending on where you live, storing it in the trailer might be a good option too. I personally use a toy hauler (Camper) but anytime you travel enclosed you limit how tall you can be.

I bought a 7x14' v nose with the custom extended height of 1' extra. No issues for me, plenty of room. It doubles as a work trailer as well. Under $5k.

I have 2 open trailers, what I was thinking was throwing a couple bucks in there and camping in it when u get there, then u got trailer and camper in one, u also have the storage option to free up room in my shop, went and looked at some yesterday think I'm gonna go ahead and jump to a 16 ft. Only 200 more, 4000.00 for 7x16 7'6" tall 7' door

Install e trac on sides. Then 2x4" hanger brackets off eTrac and a sheet of plywood gives ya bunks across the width of trlr!! I did it. Was going to convert it to camping with propane and inverter but never finished. Bought a 18' toyhauler instead. But it does work well. I remove tools and shelves and load trex. Plenty of room at 14'. 2 quads fit end to end as well.

I happen to have the 7' door and I promise you that at stock height it will be a b&&&h to get that thing in there.

I should say 7' tall trailer 6'6c door. I am going to have to chop the cage of my brand new machine.

Yes. Stock, and 6" extended height is common, 12" extended height is custom. Mine is 12" taller, door is 84". Plenty of room... I have a local dealer who stocks a few every year for guys like us. I pd $4600 out door with tax lic for 7x14' few years ago.

I have a 20' Carson Toyhauler. Even with the long travel, it fits under the rear drop-down bed. <img src="http://www.teryxforums.net/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

Ramp door opening size: 96Wx65H

Mine will not come close to fitting in a 65in high opening, my machine is 79in high, u sure u don't mean 75in high?
