I have a 2015 model with around 2,000 miles and changed mine once around 1,200 miles (no issues, just doing maintenance). A filter is around $20 and is pretty quick and easy to replace so one of those things that is worthwhile doing on a regular basis. If you run a lot of deep mud and water, or in very dusty environments a lot maybe more often.

I also have a 2021 S LE. The dealer sold me 2 fuel filters and a diagram showing the locations. I haven't been able to find them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The filter sits at the bottom of the fuel pump pickup inside the fuel tank. You basically remove the passenger front seat and any plastic covering over the fuel tank, than unbolt the fuel pump and pull it up out of the tank. You will see the fuel filter which snaps on at the bottom of the fuel pump.
