I’m new here and I’m new in the Teryx world… just got this machine “as is” as a project, planning to do an complete engine rebuild. Local dealership asked $15k for the job… with a few years of mechanical skills wish me luck everyone… suggestions and advices are very welcome!!

Welcome to the forum. What happened to the engine?

Good luck with your project, a Factory Service Manual would be a very good investment for you. I think you would still stay under the $15K budget for the rebuild!

I'm sorry, but $15k for an engine rebuild is INSANE! You could almost purchase a new bike for that price and get a 3 year warranty. Ouch. Why not just go reman?
