Went to the hardware store and put together the bar. Now my better 1/2 has somewhere to grab in front if need be, and it doubles as a bar to mount accessories to, already put the mount for my garmin.

Hi there, I picked up a fence post from Home depot, i got a couple of caps which i had to cut the loops off to have flat ends. Drilled the caps and put a bolt through each 1 and used a nut to hold it in place. I riveted the caps to the post and used 'P' clips to go around the roll bar and secured with the bolts on the end of the post. Cost me about C$20 and a little bit of time. I would never consider it part of a roll cage, but its plenty strong enough to hold onto when needed, also a good place to mount things to, ie GPS, phone ect.
