I just mounted up a set of Rage Thunders on
MB 11 wheels. I removed the trim rings and painted them Kawi lime green. Will post pics and first impressions when I get them on an Arizona trail. I went with 26x9-14 in front and 26x11-14 in rear, all on 14x7 wheels.

Rage Thunders and MB11's

I finally had time to go play at four peaks last weekend. Here are the pics of my Rage thunders on MB11 wheels. The compound on the tires is extremely soft and they bite well. I'm thinking tread life will be the trade off. Time will tell. As always I am happy with the price and service from Discount Tire.

Thanks for the update TeryxAZ. Four Peaks is a fun run. Bet it was cold at the top. I have done it a couple of times many years ago. Last time I went on that ride there was snow at the top.

I agree the tires grip great and are a softer compound but they have been wearing better than I thought they would on my side by side.

TeryxMoab, I'm from UT myself. I have the stock bighorns and only 200 miles and have seen some decent amount of wear on them just riding the slick rock down south. It was recommended to me to get Mongrels, and that they do quite well grabbing on the slick rock.

D & P Performance 2016 WORCS race team season wrap-Up

We want to thank D & P Performance for an outstanding 2016 WORCS racing season! They ran Discount Tire Rage Tires exclusively for the entire season with awesome results. Below is their personal feedback; we thought the members here would appreciate the testimonial.

For the 2016 season, Discount Tire was willing to be on board again with the Rage Thunder tire. We were very excited. The driver list changed up a little. Stacey Pike and Jim Berry would be driving in the 900 class. Kaleb Myers and Terra Hagle would be driving in the 700 class. Our new drivers were very impressed with the Rage Thunder tire as we were.

Team Wildcat finished up on the podium at every race in the 2016 seson. Team Wildcat's great success was due to the traction and durability of a quality tire. We never had a flat tire in any of our races in 2 seasons. Thank you Discount Tire for all your help and support and for providing us with the greatest tire, Rage Thunder.

Kaleb Myers driver of the #43 Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport - 2016 WORCS 700 Production Class Champion

"The Discount Tire Rage tires are a phenomenal tire. The last thing I want to worry about while racing is a flat tire. The Rage tires are one of the toughest tires I've used. I didn't get one flat tire the whole season allowing me to keep going and cross the finish line. Thanks to the Rage tire I am the 2016 worcs 700 production champion".

Stacey Pike driver of the #17 Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport - 2016 WORCS 900 Production Class Champion

"We started running the 27x9x14 Rage utv tire from Discount Tire in 2016 and I must say I am very impressed with the durability and overall handling of the tire. It works very well no matter what the terrain. It has great forward bite, provides shorter stopping distance and is very light for an 8 ply tire which is very important on the smaller cc machines".

The MB11 wheels have been discontinued and sold out. They have been replaced with the Rage Three Five Two and Rage One One. These both have the bolt on scratch guard like the MB11. Right now through May 30th you can save $160.00 on a set of wheels with our mail in rebates.

Here's a link to them on our web site:

Bought the Storm as a spare for the MotoMTC EFX tires I bought used from a guy that had them on a Honda. Hit the trails at Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer, TX over Halloween weekend with a bunch of Rzrs. Cut one of the front tire sidewalls the first afternoon on a submerged rock in a mudhole. Put the Storm on (26x9x14) and ran the next 2 days and nights with no problem (and no spare). We were running through mud, sand, gullies and rocks and the tire was impressive. The Teryx went everywhere the Rzrs went. In fact, I'm selling the Moto tires and buying 5 28x10x14s for the Teryx once I install my lift kit.
