Hey everyone! So there is tons of information on tires and wheels out there, makes my head spin. I have decided what I want to do and I just have one question for my 2017 Teryx4 LE.. I’m buying four 28x10x14 Maxxis Carnivore tires to upgrade my stance and traction, I have 27s that came stock on it with the smaller fronts(6 in wheels) and wider backs(8 in wheels I think). For new wheels I was going to do the 7in all the way around and herein lies my question. A YouTube video showed how great 28s look with new wheels, but the guy made a comment I’d like some opinions on when he said to keep the tires “in-line” you need to put a 1 inch spacer on the back tires? Thoughts?

Get the tires and wheels, install them, and take a look at them. To be honest I've never heard this topic come up for a regular Teryx, but have heard some comments in this regards for the S model.......and since you have a '17 model it's obviously not an S. In any case, you don't "need" the spacers and it's more for looks.

Thank you, will do!

As the owner of a 2016 running 28" wheels, I can tell you that if you want the wheels to track the same, then yes, you need a 1" spacer on the rear.

Alternatively, you could get rims for the rear that have the 1" backspace built in, but it would keep you from rotating them.

Do you have the S model per the discussion above?

I think I’d like to be able to rotate them so will look into the 1” spacer for the back so they track properly. What about a heavier duty belt or clutch for the machine?
