I replaced both stock tie rods with Super ATV. Just being proactive, stocks were fine just a tad loose. Both of the Super ATV tie rods pulled out on me on very easy riding. Stripped the threads. Luckily just a little bit of thread damage on the steering rack on one side, was able to tap it clean. Put the stock ones back in. Can anyone think of a reason why this could have happened? I did recently put a 2" Highlifter kit on it, I wouldn't think this would change the angle drastically and cause them to pull out. I am confident I installed them properly, screwed them in until flush, applied Loctite, snugged them up really good. Adjusted the toe perfectly, they appeared to be straight. I did notice that the Super Atv inside thread length is much shorter than stock....not sure if this design causes them to be weaker as not as much of the tie rod goes into the steering rack. Any ideas? Thanks all.
