Saw that SuperATV recently released a +3" long travel kit for the Teryx. Uses stock shocks but has longer a-arms, axles, tierods, and some sort of shock brackets.....curious to the travel numbers and ride improvement using the stock shocks. I don't see where they list estimated travel numbers, just that it increases width 3" on each side and allows for 30" tires.

At first I thought it was maybe just the 6" lift kit with different shock brackets, but after looking at the pictures the a-arms are different (but would guess the axles and tierods may be the same???). Price is $3,000 which is significantly more than the 6" lift kit.

This is sweet, and would be perfect for a trail riding machine. He mentioned that this was in the works on a thread in the forum awhile back, but I hadn't heard that it was released. Even if you include the ball joints this is quite a bit cheaper than the HCR Moab kit that uses the stock shocks... although that is a +5" kit. I wonder how it would perform if you ran this kit with some bandit stock length shocks? That would be a big expense but still more than a grand cheaper than the full HCR +5" kit with king shocks. I don't think I can get away with spending $3500 on the ol' T-Rex right now, but this is definitely on my some day list!! I can't wait to see some real world trail reviews of this kit.

The HCR kit that uses the stock shocks is $3,849 (raw steel/non-painted) and $5,500 with King shocks on their website versus $3,000 for the SuperATV that uses stock shocks. I kind of like the idea of +3" which would be an inch wider than I am now with 2" spacers, but without the extra leverage and wear on the bearings. It will be interesting to see what you can do with aftermarket shocks. This is just speculation at this point but would think you could get away with the extended length Bandits/Hesters/814s. Probably just have to verify they wouldn't allow enough droop to bind up the axles, and if so run some limit straps?????

I'm sure somebody will be trying it out soon......though it won't be me. Don't get me wrong as I think it would be really neat but not going to spend $3k since I already have offset/high clearance arms front and rear, Bandits, and 2" wheel spacers.

yeah, $4350 for the HCR kit powder coated, but you only get the axle shafts so you need to rebuild your axles using your stock CV's on their included longer RCV shaft. You also need to buy the axle boot clips, reservoir mounts and all the bushings for it. The SATV kit is 4" narrower overall but will run around $3400 plus bushings, that is with new 4340 ball joints installed, painted (green or black) and with full replacement axles. So you would be saving over $1000... but that is all using the stock shocks which everyone hates, so your budget can get blown right up if you decide to go with some aftermarket shocks, haha.
Either way, I'm excited to see someone start messing with it (it won't be me either..$$$). For that extra $6000+ I would just sell the T4 and finance a Talon 4 or KRX 4 seater when it comes out.

Yep! They slid that one on the website before letting me know. 🤣🤣 I don't have the exact travel numbers, but I'd assume you'll get around 1.5" more travel than stock with the stock shocks. I think the kit without the stock shocks and shock brackets....and go with those longer bandit shocks or that other ## brand (mentioned somewhere in this forum) would give you more actual wheel travel with the longer shocks. Its pretty awesome. All brand new. New arms, tie rods, includes EVERYTHING in the one kit...pretty sweet kit.

Should buyers expect to buy another lift kit or expect to use longer shocks with the brackets? I'm asking cause the Kawi 'S' model gains travel and width but no ground clearance increase. My teryx had clearance issues when getting around our trails up here.

I would be interested in knowing if it provides any lift assuming you keep the preload on the stock shocks the same. The site does say it allows 30" tires but not sure if that is only because the arms are presumably offset.
This kit comes with upper shock brackets so obviously can't use the typical SuperATV lift in conjunction with it, and would be surprised if any of the a-arm bracket lift kits would work either.

This kit is designed to work with your stock shocks...without having to adjust anything. 100% bolt up and go. If you wanted to.......you could get longer shocks and do away with the long travel shock brackets...and you'd squeeze out a little more wheel travel. With the included shock brackets, you wouldn't be able to run another lift on top of it........unless you went with longer shocks attached to the frame locations and didn't use the shock brackets in the kit.

No body lift. Just the added ground clearance from the arched arms and the forward offset...allowing for the bigger tires.

Looks like you're getting about 1.5" with the stock shocks front and rear. I'm going off some rudimentary testing notes I found in my prints vault. I'd guess its more like 1" more in the front and 1.5" more in the year for a more standard travel addition. If you were to go with longer shocks and discarded the stock shock brackets you'd get more. I'm betting the OEM S length shocks would be perfect. Or maybe some of those 814's that a lot of guys are using on their Teryx. For awhile there were guys using our 6" lift kit with those 814 shocks (discarding the lift brackets), and getting a cool mid-travel lift out of it. There were some threads in here about it, but I haven't stumbled on them yet. I bet they would make an awesome addition to this kit.
