I'm kind of looking at doing something like that when I get the time. Last 2 rides I threw some old towels down behind the seats and it made a big difference. Less dust in the cockpit and the air filter gets fresher air. What was the material you used?

truck bed mat. I think it was 47 inches or 48 and cut it 5 inches wide. then marked it in the center and cut the 14 inch center out. very easy. used the empty holes in the bottom of the bed and just drilled them out one sixe bigger and used pop pins like the plastic is held in with. 2 on each side

Looks good. I use the towel method which also works great. May do something a little somthing more permanent like yours.

We have some 1/4" thick rubber here at work, just cut me a strip 48" x 5" to try this out. I think this is a great idea, should cut down on dust and noise. Both are factors for me, we take my daughter and her friends riding all the time, should make it more enjoyable for them.

BTW, those little pockets behind the seats? that is where I store a couple of tow straps. Just roll them up tight and jam them in there (one behind each seat), they don't fall out. Always there in case you need them, never have to remember to put them in. Because we all know, you never PLAN on getting stuck, it just happens...
