I use a storage box (Plano Sportsman's Trunk) I picked up at Academy Sports. Works great or me and think I only paid $20 for it.

 

Was that the 108 qt?

 

That doesnt seem to leave much room for a cooler. Maybe one half that size and then fit a cooler beside it .im in the same dilemma for a cooler slash storage box.

 

No- with that box your not going to be able to put a cooler beside it. I've put a soft sided cooler at times inside the storage box.

 

I have the Kawasaki box. Works great and the square yeti soft side fits right in it. ( I am currently boycotting yeti however and would recommend anything from RTIC, better and less expensive)

Thanks, was considering the Kawasaki box, it was $400 at the dealer. Is that about normal or did you find it cheaper?

 

It’s expensive but it works well and fits perfect. Here I stood it up in a puddle trying to get up the waterfall and everything stayed clean and dry in the box. Latches nice and tight.

i have one from super atv and it works great, has two seperate compartments i keep misc. stuff on one side and use the other as an ice chest,it is insulated really well, keeps ice for several days here in az during the summer

 

They don’t seem to sell that one anymore.

I always wanted a superatv or kawi trunk, but they're out of their minds asking half a grand for them. I wound up just bringing the plano sportsmans trunk over from the rhino i used to have. Same basic one as RDL17, but cammo. Got ours from wally world. We keep an insulated grocery bag in it for food and drinks along with enough tools to basically rebuild the machine in the woods. It leaves enough room in the bed for a gallon of coolant or oil on one side and a 2.5gal gas can on the other with a bit left over in the front corners for whatever.

 

I am going to bite the bullet and get the Kawasaki box with the cooler. $$$$

I have the Kaw box. It works great for what I use it for. The cooler that comes with it just sits in my garage.

 

Yeah I think I’m going with the Kawasaki box as well. Found it for $360 on Rocky Mountain ATV, that’s the best price I’ve seen on it.

 

Did anyone find out why Super ATV stop selling cargo box???

 

He’s on here almost everyday. Maybe he will answer this for us.

Here is the setup I use. Really like the Kawi or SuperATV boxes but just couldn't bring myself to pay that much. Think I paid $50ish for this box at TSC. It's bolted through the bed and a smaller cooler fits perfect on the left side.

I wouldn’t recommend the Kawasaki one. It looks good and holds lots. But it leaks like crazy. Big let down for me. Especially for what it costs.

 

I have the Kawasaki one and, like Trexer said, it leaked from day one. I then added a pretty thick foam weather strip and now it's leak free...
