First i would like to take a second to thank everyone on this forum. You guys are an awesome bunch of people. :icon_thumleft:

About 6 months ago my wife and I decided on buying a T4, then the RECALL!!!!! So we decided to wait.

I have been reading the posts on this forum for the last 6 months so when I went into the dealership about 2 weeks ago to buy one, I knew more than the sales people. By reading what you guys had posted I was able to know exaclty what accessories I wanted to order when I bought it and how I wanted to do everything, like mounting a winch, installing a stereo, headlight upgrades and how to switch them. I even stumped the parts guy at the dealership when I told him that I wanted to order the LED headlights, he had never heard of them. ha ha

I just wanted to tell everyone on this site that all of you are a bunch of stand up guys that are all really here to help, support, and give each other advice. Now that I am offically a new T4 owner I am here to help also.

Here are some pics of what I have done with mine in two weeks.

Congrats on finally getting your Ride. Don't be surprised by the fact that we as buyers know more than most of the dealers do about our machines. To us they are having fun and making friends, to them it's all about the $$$. They are of very little help when it comes to anything other than taking our money.

Is that your winch remote plug in the glovebox?

In the glovebox I installed an extra power point and the ipod connection, I figured this way I can just leave the ipod in the glovebox while riding. I ordered the steering wheel controller for the ipod from scoche, should be here today.

What speakers are those and ehere did you get them
They are JVC 6.5" 3 way speakers, I ordered them online from best buy.

The winshield is a Koplin full tilt winshield. I installed the stereo but the idea came from all of the guys on the forum, just used some 6" schd 40 pvc sleeves 10" long and wrapped them with some carpet from home depot. I bought it from Newgate Motorsports in Ogden.

Looks great, what brand of winch ? fun times are here for you.
I just went with a cheap 3000Ib winch from Harbor Freight. I only paid $100 and got a free replacement warranty for 18 months. I figure if it lasts 18 months and i have to replace it, I got my money out of it.

Thats what is good about these sites. It cuts down on the bs the dealer can feed you as long as you stand your ground

Congrats on the new ride! You and your wife will have good times with it. I always find it comical and slightly frustrating when talking to any parts or service department. It's amazing how little they know about they products they carry.
